ŻUKOWO: Po południu otworzą Park Jubileuszowy
Po wielu latach starań w Żukowie dzisiaj zostanie oficjalnie otwarte zrewitalizowane stare centrum miasta i tak zwany Park Jubileuszowy.
Inwestycja kosztowała prawie 2 mln złotych. W ramach prac przy ulicy Klasztornej i 3-ego maja wymieniono nawierzchnię, pojawiło się też nowe oświetlenie i mała architektura. W Parku zbudowano deptak i fontannę z kolorowymi iluminacjami świetlnymi a także kompleks placów zabaw dla dzieci, system stylowego oświetlenia oraz kompozycję zieleni i ławek. Nazwę „Jubileuszowy” Park zawdzięcza niedawno obchodzonej rocznicy osiemset lecia Żukowa, a także zbliżającemu się 25-leciu nadania praw miejskich. „Mieszkańcy od lat czekali na tego typu miejsce, gdzie można się spotkać czy zwyczajnie odpocząć” – mówi Sylwia Kubryńska rzecznik Urzędu Gminy Żukowo.
Uroczyste otwarcie odbędzie się na Placu Mariackim przy kościele Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryji Panny w Żukowie. Początek o godzinie 13:00.
