W Żukowie przygotowują się do obchodów Dnia Jedności Kaszubów
Razem z Zrzeszeniem Kaszubsko – Pomorskim organizują festyn, kiermasz, turniej gry w Baśkę i doroczne bicie akordeonowego rekordu.
– Liczymy na wysoką frekwencję, zwłaszcza akordeonistów – mówił gość audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby, burmistrz Żukowa Wojciech Kankowski.
Impreza odbędzie się 23 marca, czyli w weekend po święcie upamiętniającym pierwszą w historii pisemną wzmiankę o Kaszubach. Po mszy świętej obchody Dnia Jedności Kaszubów w Żukowie przeniosą się do podstawówki nr 1, Hali Sportowo-Widowiskowej i na plac przy Orliku. Jak zaznacza burmistrz – to też okazja by pokazać, że Żukowo jest bramą Kaszub, z bogatą kulturą i tradycją. Dzień Jedności Kaszubów przypada 19 marca, żukowskie obchody zaplanowano w następującą po nim sobotę.
