ŻUKOWO: Mistrzostwa w karate i kimona z kaszubskim haftem
Mistrzostwa świata w karate i kimona wyszyte kaszubskim haftem – to nowy pomysł na promocję Żukowa i jego kaszubskich korzeni.
Mistrzostwa odbędą w dniach 20 – 22 września w Żukowie, przyjedzie na nie około 700 zawodników z całego świata. Inaugurację zawodów uświetni pokaz mody sportowej… po kaszubsku. Modelki i modele zaprezentują się w kimonach ozdobionych kaszubskim haftem. To pomysł na promocję Żukowa – miasta będącego kolebką haftu kaszubskiego. „Łącząc tradycyjną kulturę japońską z kulturą kaszubską chcemy pokazać, że sport i kultura nie ma granic” mówi rzecznik prasowy urzędu gminy w Żukowie Sylwia Kubryńska.
Inauguracja mistrzostw świata w karate odbędzie się 20 września. Uroczystość rozpocznie się o 14:00 w hali widowiskowo – sportowej gimnazjum nr 2 w Żukowie.
