Wycinanie drzew bez pozwoleń może mieć destrukcyjny wpływ na środowisko – oceniają urzędnicy w Kartuzach.
Od nowego roku obowiązują nowe przepisy, które właścicielom prywatnych posesji dały prawo wycięcia drzew i krzewów bez zezwolenia – pod warunkiem, że nie jest to związane z prowadzoną przez nich działalnością gospodarczą. – Urzędnicy wydający wcześniej decyzje o wycince drzew dziś boją się, że nowelizacja będzie ze szkodą dla drzewostanu na prywatnych terenach – tłumaczyła Olga Goitowska z Urzędu Gminy Kartuzy. Nie wszystkie jednak formalności zniesiono. Np. na terenie Kaszubskiego Parku Krajobrazowego nadal trzeba mieć stosowne pozwolenia. Od nowego roku oprócz uprawnień właścicieli posesji zmieniły się też zasady naliczania opłat za wycinkę oraz zmniejszyły kary z tego tytułu.
