Środowiska łowieckie sprzeciwiają się masowemu odstrzałowi dzików. Szczególne oburzenie budzi fakt zabijania wysokoprośnych loch. Według zarządzenia ministerstwa środowiska, przez najbliższe trzy weekendy myśliwi mają obowiązek odstrzelenia jak największej liczby dzików.
Szacuje się, że w całej Polsce liczba sięgnie 210 tysięcy sztuk. Zabieg ten ma uchronić przed rozprzestrzenianiem się wirusa ASF. To absurd – komentuje Eugeniusz Walaszkowski – prezes koła łowieckiego Łabędź. Pod groźbą kary zostaniemy zmuszeni do odstrzału także loch z młodymi, co jest niezgodne z naszą etyką – dodaje. Inicjatywa Ministerstwa Środowiska budzi duże emocje. W internecie można podpisywać sprzeciwiające się temu petycje. Niewykluczone są także uliczne protesty. Wczoraj prezydent Andrzej Duda zaapelował do ministra środowiska Henryka Kowalczyka o rozważenie wyłączenia z odstrzału wysokoprośnych loch. Pierwszy odstrzał ma się rozpocząć jutro.
