Wielki Czwartek otwiera Triduum Paschalne
To najważniejszy czas dla katolików – Wielki Czwartek otwiera dziś Triduum Paschalne. Wierni wspominać będą mękę, śmierć i zmartwychwstanie Jezusa Chrystusa.
– To najważniejszy czas przed najważniejszymi świętami – mówi ks. Grzegorz Kudelski, dyrektor katolickiego gimnazjum w Kartuzach.
Wielki Czwartek jest szczególny dla wszystkich księży. Odnawiają przyrzeczenia kapłańskie, tego dnia też święci się oleje które służą przez cały rok przy udzielaniu chrztów, święceń kapłańskich i namaszczeniu chorych. Wieczorem po mszy Wieczerzy Pańskiej rozpocznie się adoracja Najświętszego Sakramentu. W Wielki Piątek w kościołach nie odprawia się mszy świętej. To dzień zadumy nad męką Chrystusa, skupienia i powagi – a także ścisłego postu.
