W niedzielę uczczono rocznicę katastrofy smoleńskiej
W niedzielę w całym kraju uczczono rocznicę katastrofy smoleńskiej. To już sześć lat, odkąd rozbił się samolot Tu-154 i zginęła para prezydencka Lech i Maria Kaczyńscy oraz 94 osoby udające się wraz z nimi na obchody 70 rocznicy zbrodni Katyńskiej.
Byli wśród nich dowódcy wojskowi, osoby sprawujące wysokie funkcje państwowe, parlamentarzyści, duchowni. Podczas niedzielnych uroczystości prezydent Andrzej Duda apelował o wzajemne wybaczenie. Prezes PiS Jarosław Kaczyński mówił, że przebaczenie jest potrzebne, ale po przyznaniu się do winy i wymierzeniu kary. Na Pomorzu hołd ofiarom katastrofy smoleńskiej oddano m.in. podczas uroczystej mszy świętej w Bazylice Mariackiej w Gdańsku. Przewodniczył jej arcybiskup metropolita gdański Sławoj Leszek Głódź.
Od piątku sala konferencyjna Pomorskiego Urzędu Wojewódzkiego w Gdańsku nosi imię Lecha Kaczyńskiego.
