Uwaga na oszustów podszywających się pod pracowników Urzędu Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów.
Wykorzystując autorytet urzędu telefonują do osób posiadających polisy z elementem inwestycyjnym – tzw ufk-i – i nakłaniają do rozwiązania umowy. „Z informacji przekazanych przez konsumentów wynika, że telefony wykonują przedstawiciele ubezpieczycieli, aby zawrzeć nową umowę, a także firm odszkodowawczych, pobierających wysokie prowizje” – informuje UOKiK. Stąd apel, by z rozwagą podchodzić do takich propozycji.
Osobom rozważającym zrezygnowanie z polisy z elementem inwestycyjnym UOKiK radzi zwrócić uwagę na poziom opłat likwidacyjnych. Przypomina, że bezpłatną pomoc świadczą Rzecznik Finansowy oraz rzecznicy konsumentów.
