Strażacy w Potęgowie otrzymali nowy sprzęt warty niemal 40 tys. zł. Doposażenie jednostki OSP było możliwe dzięki dotacji z Krajowego Systemu Ratowniczo-Gaśniczego, Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji oraz budżetu Gminy Potęgowo.
Strażacy otrzymali m.in. ubrania wypornościowe służące do długotrwałej pracy w wodzie, aparat powietrzny do ochrony dróg oddechowych w warunkach pożarowych oraz motopompę. Zakupiono też kaski do ratownictwa wodnego, ABC nurkowe, węże, specjalistyczne strażackie ubrania. Dotacja wyniosła w sumie ponad 36 tys. zł. Z budżetu gminy Potęgowo dołożono niecałe 3 i pół tys. zł.
