W gminie Potęgowo będą ze śmieci produkować paliwo i nawóz
Unijne dofinansowanie otrzymała modernizacja Regionalnej Instalacji Przetwarzania Odpadów Komunalnych w Chlewnicy.
Umowę z pomorskim marszałkiem podpisał przez zarządu spółki ELWOZ. Unijne dofinansowanie pokryje połowę kosztów kwalifikowalnych i wyniesie ponad 16 mln zł. Do Chlewnicy trafiają odpady z 38 gmin tzw. Regionu Północnego. Modernizacja ma zwiększyć przepustowość i skuteczność przetwarzania. Rozbudowane zostaną instalacje odzysku śmieci i linia segregacji. Powstanie nowa kompostowania oraz instalacje do produkcji paliwa i nawozów mineralno-organicznych. Ważnym elementem projektu będą działania edukacyjne – warsztaty, wizyty studyjne czy wycieczki dla uczniów.
Opracowane zostaną też wirtualne spacery pozwalające prześledzić drogę różnych rodzajów odpadów komunalnych. Modernizacja zakładu w Chlewnicy będzie kosztować w sumie 36 mln zł. Potrwa do końca 2021 roku.
