To ma być miesiąc rowerzystów – ruszyła ogólnopolska akcja ”Rowerowy Maj”. Weźmie w nim udział m.in. 300 uczniów z Pucka. Akcję zapoczątkował Gdańsk, bierze w niej udział w sumie 21 miast i gmin.
– Puck włączył się do akcji po raz pierwszy i od razu ze stuprocentowym powodzeniem – mówi burmistrz Hanna Pruchniewska.
W jej ramach organizowany jest konkurs, który ma zachęcić dzieci i młodzież do dojeżdżania do szkoły rowerem. Najaktywniejsi mogą wygrać nagrody dla swojej szkoły, w przypadku pierwszego miejsca to 30 tysięcy złotych. Organizatorzy liczą, że uda się najmłodszych przekonać do codziennej jazdy rowerem. Ogółem do akcji przystąpiło 397 szkół i przedszkoli, co daje ponad 153 tysiące rowerzystów.
