Przybywa stulatków – wynika z danych Zakładu Ubezpieczeń Społecznych. Na terenie całego województwa jest ich 137, na przykład w Wejherowie – siedmioro.
– W tym roku jego wysokość to ponad 3 tys 700 zł brutto – mówi Krzysztof Cieszyński, rzecznik prasowy oddziału pomorskiego ZUS.
Z racji wieku stulatkowie otrzymują specjalne świadczenia przysługujące niezależnie od emerytury. Świadczenie honorowe przyznawane jest z urzędu emerytom i rencistom. Reszta stulatków musi złożyć wniosek. W skali kraju z roku na rok przybywa stulatków pobierających dodatki z ZUS. W 2007 roku było ich 1400, a w 2016 o 900 więcej. Na Pomorzu honorowe świadczenie pobiera teraz 137 osób. W tym 7 mieszkańców Wejherowa, po dwóch w Kościerzynie i Pucku i jedna osoba w Kartuzach.
