Poziom bezpieczeństwa na przejazdach kolejowych pogorszył się – stwierdziła Najwyższa Izba Kontroli.
– Ponad połowa skontrolowanych przejazdów nie była utrzymana we właściwym stanie technicznym – opisuje prezes NIK Krzysztof Kwiatkowski.
W raporcie oceniono działania zarządców linii kolejowych i dróg w 2015 roku i pierwszej połowie 2016. Z 240. skontrolowanych przejazdów 60 proc. posiadało różnego rodzaju usterki i uszkodzenia obniżające ich stan techniczny. Na 172 przejazdach nie było odpowiedniego oznakowania – było niekompletne, nieczytelne bądź słabo widoczne. Przejazdy były też kwalifikowane do kategorii nieodpowiedniej do natężenia ruchu. W podsumowaniu raportu NIK zaleca zarządcom dróg – w tym marszałkom województw i starostom – wykonywanie pomiarów natężenia ruchu drogowego na przejazdach.
