Podsumowują akcję „Twoje światła – twoje bezpieczeństwo”
Ponad 10,5 tysiąca pojazdów skontrolowali pomorscy policjanci w ramach akcji „Twoje światła – twoje bezpieczeństwo”.
Prowadzono ją w grudniu przez 12 dni w ramach ogólnopolskich działań – by zwrócić uwagę na sprawność i poprawność ustawienia świateł mijania w pojazdach. – Jest to często lekceważone, choć ma ogromne znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa – punktują mundurowi. Światła ustawione zbyt nisko niedostatecznie oświetlają drogę, przez co kierujący może nie zauważyć niebezpieczeństwa na czas. Światła ustawione zbyt wysoko będą z kolei oślepiały innych. 10 i 17 grudnia w jedenastu pomorskich stacjach kontroli pojazdów można było bezpłatnie sprawdzić i wyregulować światła. W czasie kontroli policjanci zwracali szczególną uwagę na stan techniczny pojazdów. Na 10,5 tysiąca skontrolowanych na Pomorzu aut w prawie co dziesiątym stwierdzono usterki – w tym 740 była związana z nieprawidłowościami w oświetleniu. Zatrzymane zostały 652 dowody rejestracyjne, z czego 200 z powodu usterek w oświetleniu.
