Paweł Olechnowicz odwołany ze stanowiska prezesa Latosu
Spółka poinformowała ponadto, że z zarządu Grupy Lotos zostali odwołani wiceprezes ds. strategii i rozwoju Marek Sokołowski oraz wiceprezes ds. poszukiwawczo-wydobywczych Zbigniew Paszkowicz.
„Rada Nadzorcza zdecydowała o delegowaniu pana Roberta Pietryszyna – przewodniczącego rady nadzorczej – do czasowego wykonywania czynności prezesa zarządu do czasu powołania nowego prezesa zarządu, jednakże na okres nie dłuższy niż trzy miesiące” – napisano w komunikacie Spółki.
Paweł Olechnowicz był najdłużej sprawującym funkcję prezesa w jakiejkolwiek spółce skarbu państwa. Jak podała Polska Agencja Prasowa, na podstawie raportów rocznych Lotosu, przez 14 lat władztwa Olechnowicza w Lotosie, przychody firmy zwiększyły się czterokrotnie.
Grupa Lotos S.A. jest koncernem naftowym zajmującym się wydobyciem i przerobem ropy naftowej oraz sprzedażą hurtową i detaliczną produktów naftowych. To jedno z największych przedsiębiorstw w Polsce ma siedzibę w Gdańsku. Ten fakt nie tylko wpływał dotąd znacząco na rozwój gospodarczy województwa pomorskiego, ale miało to również znaczenie dla pomorskiego sportu, czy kultury, które odwołany prezes Lotosu Paweł Olechnowicz od lat sponsorował. Przypomnijmy, że Olechnowicz sprzeciwiał się połączeniu Lotosu z Orlenem i wyprowadzeniu siedziby Grupy Lotos z Pomorza.
