Wiceminister kultury Jarosław Sellin o regionalnych mediach publicznych
Najdalej w ciągu pół roku powstanie ustawa zmieniająca media publiczne – zapowiada Jarosław Sellin. Polityk PiS otrzymał nominację na wiceministra kultury w rządzie Beaty Szydło. Głównym punktem reformy mediów publicznych ma być likwidacja spółek prawa handlowego, które od 1993 roku zarządzają Telewizją Polską oraz Polskim Radiem.
– Jest ich aż 20, to telewizja publiczna, 17 spółek radiowych i Polska Agencja Prasowa – przypomina Jarosław Sellin w rozmowie z Radiem Kaszëbë – i dodaje, że zmiany ustroju publicznych mediów pójdą w parze ze zmianami w ich finansowaniu.
Ministerialny projekt zakłada przekształcenie obecnych mediów publicznych – spółek prawa handlowego – w narodowe instytucje kultury z jednoosobowym zarządem. Obecny abonament miałaby zastąpić powszechna opłata audiowizualna. Nowe rozwiązanie może przynieść 3-4-krotnie większe wpływy na rzecz TVP i Polskiego Radia. To pozwoli wymagać więcej misji publicznej od tych instytucji – powiedział Jarosław Sellin Informacyjnej Agencji Radiowej. Na pytanie Radia Kaszëbë o miejsce w publicznych mediach mniejszości narodowych i etnicznych Jarosław Sellin powiedział – To jest zadanie ustawowe mediów publicznych, żeby obsługiwać mniejszości narodowe, etniczne i język regionalny zgodnie z ustawą.
Jarosław Sellin, poseł Prawa i Sprawiedliwości, od 10 lat reprezentuje Kaszuby i Pomorze w polskim parlamencie. Był członkiem Kaszubskiego Zespołu Parlamentarnego i jest działaczem Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego. Jako członek Krajowej Rady Radiofonii i Telewizji wspierał rozwój lokalnych rozgłośni radiowych, takich jak Radio Kaszëbë.
