Gryfy Kaszubskie – wyróżnienie gminy Wejherowo rozdane
Gryfy Kaszubskie – najważniejsze wyróżnienie gminy Wejherowo rozdane. Za wieloletnią pracę na rzecz lokalnych społeczności trafiły do księdza Jerzego Osowieckiego i społecznika Jerzego Grotha.
Statuetki wręczono im podczas uroczystej sesji rady gminy, połączonej z opłatkowym spotkaniem. Jerzy Groth – były naczelnik Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej w Bolszewie i współzałożyciel koła emerytów i rencistów – aktywnie wspiera organizacje kombatanckie. Ksiądz kanonik Jerzy Osowiecki, został doceniony za wieloletnia dbałość o zabytkowy kościół w Górze. Dzięki jego działaniom obiekt wpisano do rejestru zabytków oraz pozyskano środki na renowację m.in. obrazów, ołtarza i ambony. Wyróżnienie – jak mówi kapłan – to jeszcze większa motywacja. Za wieloletnią służbę złoty medal prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej odebrała z rąk wojewody pomorskiego także Janina Borchman – odchodząca na emeryturę dyrektor gminnej biblioteki publicznej w Bolszewie.
