Gmina Wejherowo przyłączyła się do Wielkiej Orkiestry Świątecznej Pomocy. W Bibliotece w Bolszewie kwestowano na zakup sprzętu ratującego życie małych pacjentów, licytowano dzieła sztuki.
Organizatorem i przewodniczącym sztabu był Artur Czaja, który w nieco ponad miesiąc zgromadził chętnych i zaprosił artystów do gminnej biblioteki. Dyrektor instytucji, Natasza Sobczak nie tylko nas przyjęła, ale podzieliła się swoją twórczością na aukcji – zaznacza Artur Czaja. Członkowie sztabu, tak jak Jolanta Heida dwa dni wcześniej kwestowali w szkole w Kębłowie w gminie Luzino, gdzie z samych licytacji udało się uzyskać ponad 1000 zł. Sama wolontariuszka swój udział argumentuje własnym doświadczeniem. W sumie w Kębłowie i Bolszewie zebrano ponad 43 i pół tysiąca złotych. Wolontariusze przyjmowali też płatności kartą, z których łącznie przekazano ponad 5700 zł.
