W gminie Wejherowo zakończono modernizację oświetlenia
Objęła ona ponad 700 latarni drogowych oraz 80 parkowych lamp. Zamiast sodowych są teraz ledowe – święcą jaśniej i zużywają mniej prądu.
85 procent kosztu ich wymiany pokryło unijne dofinansowanie pozyskane we współpracy z gminą Choczewo w projekcie wartym w sumie ponad milion złotych. Dzięki modernizacji lampy mają zużywać prawie 70 procent mniej energii elektrycznej – co dla gminy oznacza oszczędność 45 procent nakładu finansowego na oświetlenie.
