Gmina Kosakowo bez wójta – wybory w jednym z okręgów trzeba będzie powtórzyć. To wynik protestu wyborczego. Sąd Okręgowy w Gdańsku orzekł nieważność wyboru i wygaśnięcie mandatu wójta Jerzego Włudzika. Nakazał jednocześnie przeprowadzenie drugiej tury w jednym z ośmiu obwodów głosowania.
Przypomnę, że w wyborczej dogrywce w gminie Kosakowo zmierzyli się: dotychczasowy wójt Jerzy Włudzik oraz przedsiębiorca Szymon Tabakiernik. Protest wyborczy złożył Henryk Palczewski, przewodniczący Stowarzyszenia Mieszkańców Gminy Kosakowo. Jego zdaniem doszło do nieprawidłowości w obwodzie nr 5, zlokalizowanym w bibliotece w Kosakowie. Podczas drugiej tury urna wyborcza nie była opieczętowana przez cały dzień, co pod koniec głosowania udokumentowała wezwana na miejsce policja. – Z zeznań świadków, złożonych już przed sądem, wynika też, że dostęp do kluczy i budynku miały niepowołane osoby – powiedział Polskiej Agencji Prasowej Henryk Paczewski. Decyzją sądu wybory w okręgu trzeba będzie powtórzyć. W całej gminie w drugiej turze oddano 4864 głosy, Jerzy Włudzik wygrał wtedy z Szymonem Tabakiernikiem przewagą 136 głosów.
