Edmund Szymikowski świętował 65-lecie działalności artystycznej
Od 65 lat tworzy wyszywane dzieła sztuki, promuje kaszubskie dziedzictwo i zaraża innych swoją pasją. Edmund Szymikowski, mistrz żukowskiej szkoły haftu obchodził 65-lecie swojej działalności artystycznej.
Gratulacje odebrał na benefisie w wejherowskim Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko Pomorskiej. Tam też zaprezentował swoje wybrane dzieła. Edmund Szymikowski od kilkudziesięciu lat związany jest z gminą Linia, współpracuje z tamtejszym domem kultury. Jest pomysłodawcą organizowanego od 22 lat Wojewódzkiego Konkursu Haft Kaszubski – podkreśla dyrektor wejherowskiego muzeum Tomasz Fopke. Z pracami Edmunda Szymikowskiego i laureatów wojewódzkiego konkursu niedawno mieli okazję zapoznać się mieszkańcy niemieckiego Ansbach. Wystawę zorganizował tam Gminny Dom Kultury w Lini.
