Chcą zachęcić do studiowania na kierunkach ścisłych
Wydadzą dwa i pół miliona złotych by skierować uczniów do politechnik – w gminie Wejherowo nowy projekt edukacyjny ma zachęcić uczniów do nauki na kierunkach technicznych.
– Program adresowany jest do uczniów podstawówek i gimnazjów, by ułatwić im późniejszy start w dorosłość – tłumaczy Piotr Hebda z Urzędu Gminy Wejherowo.
Środki na jego realizację gmina pozyskała z Europejskiego Funduszu Społecznego. W szkołach prowadzone będą zajęcia dodatkowe, m.in. z języków obcych i robotyki, tworzone będą także kółka techniczne, a uczniowie będą brać udział w eksperymentach naukowych na sprzęcie, w które gmina doposaży szkolne pracownie. Program wspomagający kształtowanie umysłów ścisłych w gminie Wejherowo potrwa dwa lata.
