W Żukowie będą walczyć z kierowcami ciężarówek, którzy łamią przepisy. W ostatnim czasie m.in. w miejscowościach Banino, Pępowo, Chwaszczyno, Skrzeszewo mieszkańcy oraz pracownicy Gminy Żukowo zauważyli nasilenie naruszania przez kierowców przepisów drogowych na drogach gminnych.
Prym w tym procederze wiodą przede wszystkim kierowcy samochodów ciężarowych, ignorując zakazy ograniczające wjazd pojazdom przekraczającym maksymalny dopuszczalny tonaż pojazdu, a także poruszając się i parkując ciężarówką na chodniku. Dzieje się to często na nowo wybudowanych ulicach i parkingach, które w ten sposób są niszczone. Burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski apeluje – każdy, kto udokumentuje taki proceder może zgłosić to do urzędu, pracownicy przekażą to potem do Komendy Powiatowej Policji w Kartuzach. Najskuteczniejszą metodą jest zrobienie zdjęcia lub nagranie filmu. Ważne by przy zgłoszeniu podać też datę, godzinę i miejsce zdarzenia oraz dane pojazdu jak nr rejestracyjny.
Nadesłane materiały zostaną przeanalizowane pod kątem pociągnięcia do odpowiedzialności sprawców. Wobec takich osób będą stosowane konsekwencje – nałożenie mandatów oraz punktów karnych.
