Dziś Wielki Piątek – drugi dzień Triduum Paschalnego
Dziś Wielki Piątek, drugi dzień Triduum Paschalnego. Kościół Katolicki wspomina mękę i śmierć Jezusa na krzyżu.
Zamiast mszy świętej odprawia się Liturgię Męki Pańskiej. Obowiązuje ścisły post, można zjeść jeden posiłek do syta a pozostałe bardziej skromne. Podczas wieczornej liturgii, Najświętszy Sakrament w zakrytej monstrancji umieszczany jest przy grobie Jezusa. W wielu parafiach przez całą noc trwa adoracja – opisywał ks. Grzegorz Kudelski z Kartuz. Jutro Wielka Sobota, ostatni dzień Triduum. Tego dnia nadal adoruje się Najświętszy Sakrament oraz święci pokarmy na świąteczny stół. Wielka Sobota kończy się po zapadnięciu zmroku. Później odprawiana jest msza Wigilii Paschalnej, ale są to już obchody Niedzieli Wielkanocnej.
