Boże Narodzenie to spotkanie Boga z człowiekiem
Święta to czas przeżywania na nowo faktu przyjścia na świat Boga w postaci ludzkiej, które nastąpiło ponad 2 tysiące lat temu – przypominają księża katoliccy. Wierni tłumnie uczestniczą w rekolekcjach i spowiedzi, by przygotować się do spotkania Boga z człowiekiem.
Jak przypomina Kościół, Boże Narodzenie to święto, które ma charakter czysto religijny. – Nadawanie mu innych znaczeń jest spłycaniem jego treści – mówi proboszcz z parafii św. Trójcy w Kościerzynie ks. Antoni Bączkowski. Święta Bożego Narodzenia w tradycji katolickiej obchodzone są od 4. wieku. Rozpoczynają się pasterką, czyli mszą świętą o północy, w której wierni przeżywają narodzenie Jezusa.
