Dziś Wielki Czwartek rozpoczynający Triduum Paschalne
W tym czasie Kościół wspomina mękę, śmierć i zmartwychwstanie Jezusa Chrystusa.
Wielki Czwartek to także święto wszystkich księży. Rano we wszystkich kościołach katedralnych biskupi odprawili mszę św. Krzyżma, podczas której święci się oleje, które przez cały rok służą przy udzielaniu chrztów, święceń kapłańskich i namaszczenia chorych.
Wieczorem odprawiona w kościołach zostanie msza Wieczerzy Pańskiej. Po zakończeniu czwartkowej liturgii Hostia skrywana jest do Ciemnicy. Tam rozpoczyna się adoracja Najświętszego Sakramentu. To najważniejszy czas przed najważniejszymi świętami mówi ks. doktor Andrzej Megger teolog Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego.
Jutro, czyli Wielki Piątek to dzień upamiętniający śmierć Jezusa na Krzyżu. W kościołach nie odprawia się mszy świętej, to dzień zadumy nad męką Chrystusa, skupienia i powagi a także postu ścisłego.
