Drogowi piraci mają być szybciej karani. Nagrane przez nich wyczyny mają się kończyć mandatem, a nie sprawą w sądzie – wynika z planów MSW, do których dotarła „Rzeczpospolita”.
– By ukarać sprawcę policja musi ustalić właściciela, potem sprawcę, wezwać autora filmu – wyjaśnia Joanna Skrent z Komendy Wojewódzkiej Policji w Gdańsku.
Chodzi o filmy wysyłane mailem przez użytkowników dróg w ramach akcji „Stop drogowej agresji. Widziałeś – poinformuj”. Zgłoszenia trafiające do pomorskiej policji dotyczą zwykle przejazdu na czerwonym świetle i niewłaściwego parkowania, ale zdarzają się też nagrania z zajeżdżaniem drogi czy celowym, nagłym hamowaniem. Według planów MSW, o których pisze „Rzeczpospolita” czas postępowania mandatowego ma być wydłużony z 14 do 30 dni. Dzięki temu sprawy z nagrań będą się mogły kończyć zwykłym mandatem.
