Orszaki Trzech Króli – kolędowały wczoraj na ulicach
Tłumy na Orszakach Trzech Króli – kolędowano wczoraj na ulicach setek miast, miasteczek i wsi. Mróz nie zniechęcił m.in. mieszkańców Rumi, choć wpłynął na przebieg uroczystości – rozpoczęto je nabożeństwem, które zwykle zamykało tu obchody święta Objawienia Pańskiego.
– Na finał pod pomnik Jana Pawła II dotarło kilka tysięcy osób. To święto kościelne, ale równie ważne jest w nim poczucie wspólnoty – mówi marszałek Orszaku Mirosław Słowikowski.
To jedno z najstarszych świąt w chrześcijaństwie, zamykające cykl świąteczny Bożego Narodzenia. W Rumi obchody organizuje fundacja „Słowo” według tradycyjnego scenariusza. Oprócz Kacpra, Melchiora i Baltazara w rumskim orszaku nie zabrakło m.in. konnych husarzy, rycerzy czy świętego Mikołaja – co wzbudzało powszechną ciekawość, bo nie wszyscy wiedzieli, że niegdyś to właśnie 6 stycznia biskup z Miry obdarowywał ubogich prezentami.
Fundacja Orszak Trzech Króli od ośmiu lat popularyzująca tradycję jasełek podała, że przemarsze odbyły się w 420 miejscowościach w Polsce i 16 za granicą. Na Kaszubach orszaki zorganizowano m. in. w Kartuzach, Dziemianach koło Kościerzyny, Gdyni, Wejherowie, Linii czy Żelistrzewie.
