Dzieci nie będą odbierane biednym rodzinom
Dzieci nie będą odbierane rodzicom z powodu trudnej sytuacji ekonomicznej rodziny. Rząd przyjął projekt nowelizacji ustawy Kodeks rodzinny i opiekuńczy.
Nowe rozwiązania – jak wskazano w komunikacie na stronie Kancelarii Prezesa Rady Ministrów – mają przeciwdziałać pochopnemu odbieraniu dzieci rodzicom oraz umieszczaniu ich w rodzinie zastępczej lub placówce opiekuńczo-wychowawczej.
Co do zasady ma to być ostateczny środek stosowany przez sąd opiekuńczy. Wcześniej musi on zrobić wszystko, aby innymi środkami przywrócić prawidłowe funkcjonowanie rodziny, bo rodzina jest naturalnym środowiskiem dla rozwoju dziecka. Jednocześnie rozdzielenie rodziców i dzieci wyłącznie z powodu ubóstwa – wbrew woli rodziców – nie będzie możliwe.
