W półtorej godziny koleją z Brus do Gdańska?
Szybsze i łatwiejsze połączenia kolejowe z południa Kaszub do Trójmiasta obiecują władze województwa i lokalni samorządowcy. Jutro w Brusach spotkają się z przedstawicielami PKP, gdzie przedstawią nową ofertę i przekażą samorządom zarządzanie dworcami w Brusach i Chojnicach.
– Trójmiasto to dla nas najważniejszy ośrodek gospodarczy i edukacyjny – mówi nam burmistrz Brus Witold Ossowski.
Szansą na szybsze połączenie ma być trwająca właśnie modernizacja linii kolejowej na trasie Chojnice – Kościerzyna a także otwarta kilka dni temu Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna. Obecnie większość mieszkańców dojeżdża tam samochodami, bo kolej jest nieatrakcyjna. To musi się zmienić – zaznacza burmistrz Ossowski. Jutro władze PKP nieodpłatnie przekażą zarządzanie dworcami lokalnym samorządom w Chojnicach i Brusach, gdzie mają powstać węzły komunikacyjne. Uroczystość w Brusach rozpocznie się o godzinie 11:20, gdzie specjalnym pociągiem do Brus dotrą władze województwa, parlamentarzyści, samorządowcy oraz przedstawiciele PKP. (Foto: www.brusy.net)
