700 tysięcy złotych na porządek dla Spółdzielni Socjalnej „Kaszubia”
700 tysięcy złotych – na utrzymanie porządku i czystości w gminie Wejherowo otrzymała Spółdzielnia Socjalna „Kaszubia”. Uchwałę o rocznej dotacji radni przyjęli na ostatniej sesji.
– To uchwałą formalna, pieniądze dla spółdzielni zabezpieczyliśmy jeszcze podczas ubiegłorocznej sesji budżetowej – mówi wójt gminy Wejherowo, Henryk Skwarło.
Samorząd już po raz drugi wsparł „Kaszubę”. Do zadań spółdzielni należy przede wszystkim sprzątanie i wywóz nieczystości. Zatrudnienie w niej znajdują m.in. osoby niepełnosprawne czy zagrożone wykluczeniem społecznym, dzięki czemu gmina nie musi zlecać tych zadań podmiotom zewnętrznym. „Kaszubia” została utworzona w 2015 roku. To pierwsza w województwie pomorskim spółdzielnia prowadzona wspólnie przez dwa samorządy – wejherowskie starostwo powiatowe i gminę Wejherowo.
