Żukowcy gimnazjaliści chcą mieć obserwatorium astronomiczne
Ponad 2,5 tysiąca złotych udało się zebrać uczniom żukowskiego gimnazjum im. Jana Hewliusza podczas szkolnego festynu. Pieniądze te, przeznaczone zostaną na wybudowanie obserwatorium astronomicznego przy szkole.
Wcześniej szkoła aplikowała o wsparcie na ten cel ze środków unijnych. Bezskutecznie. Dlatego społeczność szkolna postanowiła wziąć sprawy w swoje ręce. Przez rok udało się odłożyć około 9 tysięcy złotych, zebrane na festynie 2500 pochodzi sprzedaż wypieków i napojów oraz dobrowolnych cegiełek.
Szkoła uzyskała już pozwolenie od architekta na wybudowanie wieżyczki, w której mieścić się będzie obserwatorium. Na razie nie wiadomo, kiedy nastąpi jego budowa, bo na to potrzeba minimum 70 tysięcy złotych.
