ZK-P podsumowało obchody Roku Józefa Chełmowskiego
Z tej okazji na Kaszubach zorganizowano kilkadziesiąt konkursów, konferencji, wystaw oraz warsztatów i plenerów sztuki ludowej.
– Centrum tych wydarzeń była chata kaszubska i skansen artysty w Brusach-Jagliach – podsumowywała Anna Orlikowska z Centrum Kultury i Biblioteki w Brusach.
Prezentację wydarzeń przedstawiono wczoraj podczas wigilii zrzeszeniowej w Brusach. Obchody Roku miały służyć promocji kultury ludowej oraz sylwetki Józefa Chełmowskiego, który był rzeźbiarzem, malarzem i filozofem ludowym. Skansen artysty, akurat w Roku jego imienia, został dotknięty skutkami sierpniowej nawałnicy. Ucierpiała część rzeźb oraz budynek mieszkalny. – Przy okazji postanowiliśmy odnowić eksponaty ze skansenu dziadka – podkreślała wnuczka artysty, Magdalena Wirkus. Zbiórka środków na ten cel trwa na portalu zrzutka.pl pod hasłem „Ratunek dla skansenu Józefa Chełmowskiego”.
