Zakończyły się prace związane z termomodernizacją Szkoły Podstawowej w Chwaszczynie. Budynek jest teraz cieplejszy i bardziej estetyczny.
– To same pozytywy dla ochrony środowiska, mówi burmistrz Żukowa, Wojciech Kankowski.
Wykonane zostało kompleksowe docieplenie ścian. Wymieniono okna i drzwi, instalacje grzewcze, zamontowano ekologiczne źródła ciepła oraz zmodernizowano oświetlenie na LED-owe. Co ważne, zamontowano instalację solarną na dachu budynku szkoły, przyłącze instalacji gazowej, a także 26 gruntowych kolektorów pionowych sond geotermalnych. Szkoła w Chwaszczynie jest jedną z czterech termomodernizowanych na terenie gminy Żukowo. Na ukończeniu są też prace w Leźnie i Skrzeszewie. Roboty rozpoczęły się za to w Pępowie
