Koło hafciarskie z Chwaszczyna w gminie Żukowo świętuje 10 rocznicę działalności. Należy do niego 46 pań, wzory czerpią ze słynnej żukowskiej szkoły haftu kaszubskiego.
– To zasługa cierpliwej pracy całego zespołu – podkreśla przewodnicząca koła Anna Barsowska.
Ich prace podziwiano już na wystawach w Niemczech, Kanadzie, Rosji, Francji czy Izraelu. Co roku odnoszą też sukcesy na Konkursie Haftu Kaszubskiego w Linii. Spotkania koła hafciarskiego w Chwaszczynie odbywają się raz w tygodniu – w poniedziałki. Rozpoczynają się o 16:30 i trwają 4 godziny.
