Wyprawki szkolne – w ramach akcji „Tornister pełen uśmiechów”
Ponad dwa tysiące dzieci i młodzieży otrzymało wyprawki szkolne – w ramach akcji gdańskiego Caritas „Tornister pełen uśmiechów”.
– To specyficzny łańcuch przekazywania dobra i sposobności do jego czynienia, a odzew społeczeństwa jest ogromny. Każdy plecak jest adresowany do konkretnego dziecka w danej parafii z opisem jakich przyborów może potrzebować – opisywał ksiądz Janusz Steć dyrektor Caritas Archidiecezji Gdańskiej.
To już piąta edycja ogólnopolskiej akcji, w której wolontariusze w parafiach odbierają puste plecaki a oddają zapełnione przyborami szkolnymi. W Archidiecezji Gdańskiej tornistrów jest około dwóch tysięcy. W tym roku w akcję włączyły się 64 parafie, wydały na swoim terenie od czterech do 40 plecaków. Tak jak w poprzednich latach wszystkie tornistry wróciły pełnie, czasem nawet z nawiązką. Dlatego często razem z wypełnionymi plecakami do potrzebujących trafiają dodatkowe wyprawki. Tak był m.in. w Żukowskiej Parafii pod wezwaniem Miłosierdzia Bożego, która pobrała 40 plecaków, 30 dokupiła z własnych środków, a ponad 10 sfinansowali sami parafianie. Do Parafialnego Zespołu Caritas wróciły 82 pełne plecaki, które trafiły już do potrzebujących.
