Pilotaż Systemu Roweru MEVO ruszy 26 marca
Drugi rozruch testowy zakończył się sukcesem. To oznacza, że po czterech miesiącach opóźnienia rowery wypożyczane na minuty będą dostępne na ulicach 14 gmin – poza Trójmiastem także m.in. w Stężycy, Żukowie, Rumi, Redzie, Pucku i Władysławowie.
Na razie będzie to jedna trzecia trzecia całej floty, która docelowo ma liczyć 4 tys 80 jednośladów wspomaganych elektrycznie. Do momentu uruchomienia nie będą one jednak jeszcze dostępne do wypożyczenia, aplikacja pojawi się najpóźniej w dniu startu systemu. To właśnie problemy z aplikacją były głównym powodem powtórzenia testów rozruchowych i opóźniły odbiór systemu MEVO. Jednym z największych wyzwań okazał się GPS. Wcześniej były też problemy z terminowym przygotowaniem stacji postojowych. Wszystko to spowodowało, że zamiast 18 listopada ubiegłego roku pilotaż rozpocznie się 26 marca.
W systemie można się już rejestrować – na razie bez możliwości wykupienia abonamentu – na stronie www.rowermevo.pl.
