Wydano pozwolenie wodnoprawne dla przekopu Mierzei Wiślanej
Dyrektor Regionalnego Zarządu Gospodarki Wodnej Wody Polskie w Gdańsku wydał pozwolenie wodnoprawne na wykonanie kanału żeglugowego przez Mierzeję Wiślaną.
Jest to jeden z dokumentów potrzebny do rozpoczęcia budowy nowej drogi wodnej między Zalewem Wiślanym a Zatoką Gdańską. „Bez tego dokumentu inwestycja nie może ruszyć” – poinformował Polską Agencję Prasową rzecznik prasowy Państwowego Gospodarstwa Wodnego Wody Polskie w Gdańsku Bogusław Pinkiewicz. Na mocy dokumentu udzielono pozwolenia na wykonanie kanału żeglugowego przez Mierzeję Wiślaną. Decyzji nadano rygor natychmiastowej wykonalności. Dokument jest niezbędny, dla uzyskania zgody na rozpoczęcie prac, którą wydaje wojewoda. Jak zapowiada ministerstwo gospodarki morskiej i żeglugi śródlądowej, pierwsze jednostki przez kanał żeglugowy przez Mierzeję Wiślaną będą mogły przepłynąć w 2022 roku. Inwestycja ma kosztować ok. 880 mln zł; będzie finansowana w całości z budżetu państwa.
