Władze Chojnic będą modernizować dworzec kolejowy
Chojnice przygotowują się do najważniejszej w najbliższych latach inwestycji – modernizacji dworca kolejowego. Na ten cel pozyskały aż 48 mln złotych w ramach Miejskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego.
– Będzie obsługiwał łącznie 150 tysięcy mieszkańców – mówi burmistrz Arseniusz Finster.
Dworzec ma zostać powiększony i przebudowany. Wokół mają powstać duże parkingi i ciągi piesze, które połączą go z centrum miasta i gminą Chojnice. Umowę o dofinansowaniu inwestycji burmistrz Chojnic podpisał w poniedziałek z marszałkiem województwa pomorskiego. Podczas spotkania podkreślano potrzebę bezpośredniego skomunikowania Chojnic z Trójmiastem. Temu ma służyć trwający remont linii kolejowej – mówił poseł Stanisław Lamczyk. Przetarg na przebudowę dworca władze Chojnic chcą ogłosić w styczniu przyszłego roku. Inwestycja ma zostać zakończono do połowy 2019 roku.
