Kilkadziesiąt zalanych piwnic, podmyte drogi i chodniki – to bilans ulewy i gradobicia w powiecie chojnickim. Najwięcej zniszczeń jest w gminie Brusy. W sobotni wieczór w powiecie chojnickim strażacy interweniowali prawie trzydzieści razy – do powalonych drzew i do podtopień.
– Podmyte zostały również chodniki i ścieżki rowerowe – wymienia burmistrz Witold Ossowski.
Najgorzej było w gminie Brusy, w rejonie wsi Żabno, Kinice i Kosobudy. Ulewa uszkodziła nawierzchnię drogi powiatowej Brusy-Czersk, która wciąż jest nieprzejezdna. To już kolejne nagłe zjawisko atmosferyczne w którym ucierpiała gmina Brusy. W sierpniu ubiegłego roku nawałnica uszkodziła tam ponad 800 budynków oraz setki hektarów lasów i upraw.
