Włączają się w obchody Europejskiej Nocy Bez Wypadku
Kościerzyna, Władysławowo, Gdańsk i Sopot włączają się w obchody Europejskiej Nocy Bez Wypadku. Jutro w wielu klubach i dyskotekach wolontariusze będą namawiać kierowców, by nie spożywali alkoholu i wykazali się odpowiedzialnością.
– Będą zachęcać kierowców do udziału w akcji i rozdawać niebieskie opaski – mówi Rafał Mikołajczyk z kościerskiego MOPS.
Akcja organizowana jest od 13. lat w prawie wszystkich miastach europejskich. Jej celem jest ograniczenie tzw. wypadków dyskotekowych i liczby nietrzeźwych kierowców na drogach. Jutro wolontariusze w 22 miastach w Polsce i 5 na Pomorzu zorganizują w klubach i dyskotekach stoiska informacyjne. Nietrzeźwi kierujący w ubiegłym roku spowodowali 1575 wypadków, w których zginęło 218 osób, a prawie 2 tysiące zostało rannych. Ich sprawcami byli głównie ludzie młodzi.
