Grupa dożynkowa ze Skorzewa: Katarzyna Formela, Anna Krauze, Małgorzata Brunka, Elżbieta Formela i Maria Brunka
Kaszubski wieniec dożynkowy ze Skorzewa w gminie Kościerzyna jednym z najładniejszych w Polsce. Wyróżniono go podczas dożynek prezydenckich w Spale.
– Mieszkańcy Skorzewa do tworzenia swojego dzieła wykorzystali owies, pszenicę i żyto a także len i kwiaty ze swoich ogrodów – opowiada sołtys wsi Katarzyna Formela.
Podczas corocznego ogólnopolskiego święta rolników zaprezentowano łącznie 16 wieńców, po jednym z każdego województwa. Oceniano kompozycję, wykorzystane zboża a także tradycyjność wieńców. Na dożynki do Spały mieszkańcy Skorzewa pojechali w strojach kaszubskich, by promować Kaszuby i nasze województwo. Dziękowano za minione żniwa, które w gminie Kościerzyna przyniosły o wiele niższe plony niż w latach ubiegłych. Na tym terenie od kilku dni rozpoczęła działalność komisja do spraw szacowania strat spowodowanych tegoroczną suszą.
