Więcej małych czytelników – w programie „Z książką na start”
Przybywa najmłodszych czytelników – w bibliotekach, które prowadzą program „Z książką na start”.
– Na zachętę dostają też w prezencie wybraną przez siebie książkę – wyjaśniała Anna Chlewicka ze Stacji Kultura w Rumi.
Promocję czytelnictwa skierowaną do dzieci w wieku do 6 lat zapoczątkowała wiosną Wojewódzka i Miejska Biblioteka w Gdańsku. Przez pół roku założono tam karty dla ponad dwóch tysięcy dwustu dzieci. Od września do programu przystąpiły także placówki w Redzie, Rumi, Wejherowie, Sopocie i Tczewie a przygodę z książką przez miesiąc rozpoczęło ponad 1 tysiąc 300 dzieci. Maluchy za każdą wypożyczoną pozycję zbierają pieczątki, a później nagrody. Do programu „Z książką na start” przyłączają się kolejne biblioteki – partnerem akcji została właśnie Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna im. ks. Bernarda Sychty w Starogardzie Gdańskim.
