W Żukowie wyłowiono pół tony śniętych ryb
Ogromne ilości śniętych linów, amurów, szczupaków i płoci wyłowili strażacy z zalanego wyrobiska torfowego w Żukowie. Prawdopodobną przyczyną pomoru był brak tlenu w zbiorniku.
– Prawdopodobnie jest to skutek niedotlenienia płytkiego zbiornika po ostatnich gorących dniach – mówi komendant Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Kartuzach, Edmund Kwidziński.
Zgłoszenie o martwych rybach w stawie przy byłej oczyszczalni ścieków dotarło do kartuskiej komendy w niedzielę około południa. Na miejsce przybyło 5 zastępów straży pożarnej z Kartuz, Dzierżążna, Goręczyna i Zawór. Do poniedziałkowego wieczoru strażacy wyłowili ponad 500 kilogramów śniętych ryb. Pracownicy Wojewódzkiego Inspektoratu Ochrony Środowiska pobrali również próbki wody, aby przebadać ją pod względem zanieczyszczeń. Utylizacja śniętych ryb będzie kosztowała 500 złotych.
