W Piaśnicy zainaugurowano piąty cykl Kaszuby Biegają
Prawie 800 biegaczy przybyło do Piaśnicy by uczcić pomordowanych – była to zarazem inauguracja piątego cyklu Kaszuby Biegają.
W biegu głównym na dystansie 10. km rywalizowało ponad pół tysiąca biegaczy. Pierwszy na mecie był Sebastian Wąsicki – zwycięzca pierwszej edycji, wśród pań zwyciężyła Monika Czapiewska – zwyciężczyni cyklu Kaszuby Biegają z ubiegłego roku. Biegowe święto było częścią obchodów gminy Wejherowo upamiętniających kilkanaście tysięcy osób – głównie pomorskiej inteligencji – pomordowanych na początku drugiej wojny światowej w Piaśnickich lasach. Cykl Kaszuby Biegają potrwa do października. Następne na liście startowej są Kartuskie Biegi Uliczne 29 kwietnia.
