W lasach obowiązuje trzeci stopień zagrożenia pożarowego
Leśnicy apelują o ostrożność – w lasach obowiązuje trzeci, najwyższy stopień zagrożenia pożarowego. Prawie w całym kraju ściółka leśna jest wysuszona na wiór. Jej wilgotność nie przekracza 10 proc. To tyle co zwykła kartka papieru.
– Samochody można pozostawiać na oznakowanych parkingach lub w miejscach postoju pojazdów – apeluje Elżbieta Gostkowska, nadleśniczy Nadleśnictwa Kartuzy.
W związku z tym leśnicy apelują o zachowanie szczególnej ostrożności w lesie. Na terenach leśnych i w odległości 100 metrów od granicy lasu nie wolno używać otwartego ognia. Należy też zwracać uwagę gdzie pozostawiamy swoje auta, aby nie utrudnić przejazdu wozom straży pożarnej w razie ewentualnego pożaru. Jeśli sytuacja utrzyma się jeszcze przez kilka dni to leśnicy wprowadzą zakaz wstępu do lasu. Taki zakaz można wprowadzić jeśli przez kolejnych pięć dni wilgotność ściółki mierzona o godzinie 9 rano wynosi poniżej 10 procent.
