W Kuźnicy wystartuje 15 już edycja Marszu Śledzia
Zaczęło się w 2002 roku od wyprawy 4 osób, teraz obowiązuje limit stu uczestników, a na jedno miejsce przypada nawet 16 chętnych. W sobotę przez Zatokę Pucką przejdzie Marsz Śledzia.
To unikatowa impreza organizowana w drugiej połowie sierpnia i jedyny marsz, w którym uczestnicy idą przez morze. Trasa wiedzie w poprzek Zatoki Puckiej z Kuźnicy na Półwyspie Helskim do Rewy w gminie Kosakowo. Uczestnicy maszerują płyciznami Rybitwiej Mielizny, muszą też pokonać wpław tzw. głębinkę – odcinek od 700-t do tys. 400 metrów w zależności od stanu wody i układu płycizn w danym roku. Koniec marszu zwyczajowo wyznacza miejsce na końcu szpyrku rewskiego koło krzyża. Nazwę zainspirowało żartobliwe określenie Gdynian – w herbie tego miasta widnieją śledzie. Ale nawiązuje ona także do lokalnej tradycji, bo do lat 60. dwudziestego wieku najlepsze łowiska śledzia były właśnie wzdłuż Rybitwiej Mielizny. Będzie to 15. już edycja Marszu Śledzia, który stał się atrakcją turystyczną i cieszy się rosnącym zainteresowaniem. W ubiegłym roku przez Zatokę chciało pójść tysiąc 587 osób. Liczbę uczestników od kilku lat ustalono na poziomie stu – ze względów logistycznych i dla bezpieczeństwa. Tegoroczny Marsz Śledzia wystartuje w sobotę, uczestnicy zbiorą się o 10:00 rano w Kuźnicy, na rewskim Szpyrku mają być około 15:00. Imprezę poprzedzi w piątek wieczór z Marszem Śledzia – odbędzie się on o 19:30 w Kuźnicy w budynku Informacji Turystycznej.
