W gminie Żukowo przybędzie ponad 8 km nowej sieci kanalizacyjnej
87 mln zł będzie kosztować w gminie Żukowo rozbudowa sieci kanalizacyjnej i wodociągowej. Ta ogromna inwestycja ma być w połowie sfinansowana ze środków Narodowego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej.
– To dlatego że miejscowości szybko się rozrastają – mówi burmistrz Wojciech Kankowski.
W jej ramach powstaną nowe odcinki w Żukowie, Borkowie, Pępowie, Baninie, Tuchomiu, Rębiechowie i Chwaszczynie – łącznie ponad 8 kilometrów. Teraz mniej niż połowa gminy ma dostęp do sieci kanalizacji sanitarnej. W ramach projektu zmodernizowana zostanie też sieć wodociągowa w Chwaszczynie, a w Baninie i Skrzeszewie wybudowane zostaną zbiorniki podnoszenia ciśnienia wody. Pierwsze prace mają rozpocząć się w przyszłym roku.
