W gminie Wejherowo rozpoczynają się V Dni Piaśnickie
Rajdy – pieszy i rowerowy, biegi, olimpiada wiedzy – w gminie Wejherowo jutro rozpoczynają się piąte Dni Piaśnickie. Wydarzenie już na stałe wpisało się w gminny kalendarz, ma upamiętniać ofiary hitlerowskiej zbrodni i upowszechniać wiedzę o niej.
– Konkurs dla młodzieży, biegi z udziałem gości spoza regionu są naszym sposobem na krzewienie pamięci o tych tragicznych wydarzeniach – mówił dziś w audycji dzień Dobry Kaszuby współorganizator Dni Piaśnickich Marcin Drewa ze Stowarzyszenia Rodzina Piaśnicka.
W piaśnickich lasach na początku drugiej wojny światowej wymordowano kilkanaście tysięcy osób – głównie pomorską inteligencję, duchownych, działaczy społecznych. Piąte Dni Piaśnickie rozpoczną się jutro Gwiaździstym Rajdem dla uczniów szkół gminy Wejherowo i miasta Wejherowa. W sobotę rano pobiegną uczestnicy Biegów Piaśnickich, o 11:00 rozpoczną się uroczystości pod Pomnikiem Głównym. W niedzielę w Art Parku w Bolszewie odbędzie się Rowerowy Rajd Piaśnicki, a na zakończenie w poniedziałek finał piątej Olimpiady w gimnazjum w Bolszewie.
