Uwaga na oszustów – ostrzega Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych
Zakład Ubezpieczeń Społecznych ostrzega przed oszustami podszywającymi się pod jego pracowników.
To reakcja na doniesienia z Wejherowa. Tamtejsza policja przyjęła zgłoszenie od osoby, z którą kontaktowała się telefonicznie rzekoma pracownica ZUS. Oszustka powiedziała, że pokrzywdzona otrzymuje świadczenia rehabilitacyjne, które musi natychmiast zwrócić – bo gdy tego nie zrobi, czeka ją egzekucja komornicza. Do wyłudzenia nie doszło dzięki zachowaniu ostrożności. Rzecznik prasowy pomorskiego ZUS Krzysztof Cieszyński przypomina, że kontrole płatników zawsze są zapowiadane, chyba że dotyczą wykorzystania zwolnienia lekarskiego. ZUS przypomina też, że wiadomości pocztą elektroniczną wysyła wyłącznie do klientów, którzy zdecydowali się na taką formę kontaktu. Wszystkie inne informacje wysyłane pocztą elektroniczną rzekomo w imieniu Zakładu mogą zawierać wirusy i nie należy ich otwierać. Z kolei procedura przymusowego dochodzenia zaległości wobec ZUS jest pisemna i wiąże się z doręczaniem korespondencji za pośrednictwem poczty.
